Sara Grant is named 2025 Autumn & Art’s Featured Artist!
Wichita Native Sara Grant Brown named Featured Artist for Autumn & Art 2025, Presented by Pella Products of Kansas
Sara Grant Brown is a visual artist specializing in hyper realistic colored pencil drawings that explore the vulnerability, complexity, and surreal dimensions of human identity.
Wichita, Kan., Aug. 13, 2025 — Wichita Festivals, Inc. has announced that acclaimed visual artist Sara Grant Brown will be the Featured Artist for the 16th annual Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair, taking place September 12–14, 2025. Brown’s striking piece, Air, will be featured on this year’s official event poster.
Her featured piece, Air, was inspired by “a time when I felt emotionally worn thin, when just existing felt like effort. Slowly, the image began to take shape. The birds became symbols for small, steady comforts — the kind that don’t fix anything but help you keep going… Air isn’t about healing or breaking; it’s about the moment in between, where you finally let yourself feel everything and just breathe,” said Brown, when asked about the inspiration behind the work.
This will be Brown’s second time showing at Autumn & Art. “The crowds are full of genuine art lovers — curious, thoughtful, and engaged. It’s deeply meaningful to share my work in the city that shaped me. The show isn’t just an art fair, it’s a conversation with my own community, where every interaction reminds me why I do this,” she said.

Autumn & Art, is hosted at Bradley Fair, is a free public event that showcases artists working across a variety of media. From 2D drawings and paintings to sculpture, woodworking, fiber art, and glasswork, attendees are invited to explore and support creativity by purchasing directly from the artists.
In addition to browsing and shopping, guests can enjoy Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bars each morning and a variety of food stalls throughout the weekend. Entertainment will take place on two stages, featuring live music, art demonstrations, and performances.
Autumn & Art welcomes attendees of all ages. The popular Kid’s Corner, open Saturday and Sunday, includes art-inspired games, prizes, and meet-and-greets with animals from Tanganyika Wildlife Park.
For those looking to elevate their experience, become a Patron. The exclusive Patron Party, held Friday, September 12 from 6-9 p.m. on the Wilson Estates Parkway at Bradley Fair, includes a night of food, drinks, entertainment, and art. Enjoy performances by speed painter Michael Potts, living statues, mimes, and live musicians & a DJ. Cuisine will be provided by Il Vicino, The Belmont/Larchers, and Newport Grill, with a fully stocked bar, craft coffee, and a cigar lounge to close out the evening.
