Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation Presents… Creature Creations
Where Conservation Meets Creativity
Step into the wild world of Creature Creations, where every brushstroke supports a cause and every painting has a paw, hoof, or flipper behind it.
Brought to you by the Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation, Creature Creations is more than just an art booth. It’s a celebration of wildlife, conservation, and the incredible bond between animals and the people who care for them.
About Tanganyika
A nonprofit organization on a mission to support the animals at Tanganyika Wildlife Park through conservation, education, and exceptional animal care. Every dollar raised through the sale of our unique animal-made artwork goes directly toward:
• Advancing animal welfare
• Supporting global conservation efforts
• Improving the Park for future generations
When you purchase a piece from Creature Creations, you’re not just buying art. You’re helping build a better world for wildlife.
How It Works
Each masterpiece is created by one of our animal ambassadors using positive reinforcement and choice-based participation. That means the animals choose when and how they want to paint, and they do it in exchange for their favorite treats and enrichment.
Whether it’s a nose boop, a toe tap, or a waddle across canvas, these expressive techniques make every painting one of a kind.
Meet the Artists
Stop by on Saturday, September 13 from 12:00–1:30 PM and 3:00–4:30 PM, and again on Sunday, September 14 from 12:00–2:00 PM to meet some of our incredible animal artists.
(Artist participation may vary based on how the animals are feeling that day, as their comfort and well-being always come first)
Hoppy the Vulture
Meet Hoppy, our incredible King Vulture, who is FIFTY-NINE years old! Vultures might not always get the spotlight, but they’re true heroes of the wild. By cleaning up carrion, they help prevent the spread of disease and keep ecosystems healthy.
Penguin Clan
A few of our African penguins have become the Park’s most unexpected artists. Using their webbed feet, they dance across canvases, leaving behind vibrant, abstract footprints. These pint-sized painters love their art time almost as much as they love chasing after peacock feathers.
Gypsy the Goat
Don’t be fooled by her size. Gypsy, our Nigerian dwarf goat, is full of sass and creativity. Raised by hand after a rocky start, Gypsy now creates whimsical, colorful works of art using her hooves. Her paintings are playful, full of personality, and just as lovable as she is.
Come visit Creature Creations and take home a piece of art that makes a difference for animals, for conservation, and for the future of wildlife. The art booth will be open all weekend long!
